How to tell the Good guys from the Bad Guys in Iraq

Sun Feb 13, 2005 at 11:34:53 AM PDT

[You can't know who to bomb without a scorecard]

Prewar Iraq:

  • Shia:  Good Guys. Abused underclass majority we must free from beneath the Evil Dictator's boot.
  • Kurds: Good Guys. Abused underclass minority gassed by the Evil Dictator.
  • Sunnis: Bad Guys. Cruel privileged ruling class collaborators of the Evil Dictator.

Pre-Election Postwar Iraq:
  • Shia:  Good Guys. Liberated underclass majority now free to practice their religion openly and take their rightful place at the table in Brave New Iraq.
  • Kurds: Good Guys. Liberated underclass minority 'never again' to suffer 'Saddams Holocaust'
  • Sunni's: Bad Guys. Vicious dead-enders and resentful ex-Baathists[subtext nazi fugitives] making trouble for Brave New Iraq. To be hunted down and killed or captured.

RE:   Plan of Attack on new DNC Chair Howard Dean, Pt.1

Our sources on the inside have confirmed that the DNC chairmanship has been decided in Howard Dean's favor, and a public announcement to that effect will be coming later this week. Unfortunately, since none of our "preferred" candidates came out on top, it is now time to put in motion the 'worst case scenario' plan we had worked out early last month, when things started tilting in Dean's favor.

Should Democrats "execute" DINOs?

Wed Feb 09, 2005 at 02:58:09 PM PDT

[inspired by litero's comment earlier today]

To set a clear example, and send a strong message for the rest of Dem congressional and senatorial representatives, to always line up 100% on Core Democratic issues.

And since it is not fair to punish anyone for 'violating' a vague or undefined code or law, I have attempted,as part of this diary, to simply define, enunciate and enumerate my personal version of what I view to be the core set of  Democratic issues and values below.

I'm in favor of Dem bosses having the power (and using it) to make examples of blatant serial violaters (such as [add your favorite suspect here] a 'Zeller', an L'man , a B*den etc.) of the Democratic code of core issues and values.
